The Three Waters of Women
The First Water
Numerous ancient Taoist writings on sexology mention three distinct types of fluid that circulate in and out of the female body during states of arousal, orgasm and ecstasy.
The first of these, often referred to as ‘waters’, is the milky, creamy fluid produced by the ‘Bartholin glands’. This fluid is secreted in increased amounts during arousal. Its main purpose is to lubricate the yoni.
The Second Water
The second water is the fluid released during G-spot orgasms. According to recent scientific research, this fluid is partly produced in the kidneys from where it flows to the bladder, where it is released alongside a secretion from the ‘Skene’s glands’. This clear, tasteless liquid is usually mixed with urine, as G-spot orgasms often coincide with a strong outward contraction of the pelvic floor muscles.
The G-spot in women can be considered analogous to the prostate gland in men. Researchers in the US have found that the tissue around the G-spot contains an enzyme that is usually only found in the male prostate. Like the G-spot, stimulating the prostate can be highly pleasurable. Orgasming in either area can trigger the release of large amounts of fluid (‘male squirting’), which can far exceed the amount of regular male ejaculation.

The Third Water
The third water is that of the cervical orgasm. Recent studies suggest that it is produced in more than two dozen tiny glands embedded in the urethral sponge, the tube of spongy erectile tissue surrounding the urethra. A cervical orgasm is often described as a very powerful, full-body experience. The cervix may feel like it is opening and closing or sucking as it contracts in orgasmic release. The fluid is usually thicker and more viscous, and has a noticeable scent.
Pleasure Centers
The cervix, the G-spot and the prostate are considered to be primary ‘pleasure centres’ which can be a gateway to experiencing full-body orgasms. To access or work with a pleasure centre, it is usually necessary to activate it first by regularly and consciously stimulating the area, ideally through ‘conscious masturbation’ routines.
‘Pleasure centres’ such as the G-spot and prostate have a tendency to store emotional trauma, which can result in them becoming energetically imbalanced or blocked. In such cases, it may also be necessary to clear and heal the area. Massage system such as ‘Karsai Nei Tsang’ can be effective in releasing trauma from the sexual system.
